The Parasport & Recreation for Persons with a Disability Initiative Funding Program supports projects that increase opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in parasport and recreation across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Through funding for travel, equipment, and community-based programming, the initiative helps reduce barriers to participation, build local capacity, and create more inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities to be physically active. The program also supports education and awareness efforts that strengthen inclusive recreation and sport throughout the province.
