Parasport and Recreation for Persons with a Disability Funding Program

Application Deadline: October 24th, 2025 and February 20th, 2026.

The Parasport and Recreation for Persons with a Disability Funding Program, administered by Recreation NL, is a strategic initiative supported by the provincial government’s recreation and sport strategy, Active Healthy Newfoundland and Labrador (2007). Funding opportunities are available for elite athletes and teams for equipment and travel. Communities and recreation organizations can avail of funding for new program developments for persons with a disability.
